Response: 8 regions and essentially 8 different answers
How to achieve this • Define assurance • Develop the global process • Educate Diving contractors to our expectations, UDP and the Policy Statements • Educate the BP Regional Diving Responsible Person, Technical Authorities and Client Approved Representatives to our expectations • Restructure the Global Team.
Definition of Quality Assurance Quality Assurance is defined as "a planned and systematic pattern of all actions necessary to provide adequate confidence that an item or product conforms to established technical requirements" (IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
Implementation THE ASSURANCE PROCESS • Audit Team / Diving Client Approved • Responsible Person (DRP) Representative(CAR) • Note: • Audit team establishes the baseline audit and then the Regional DRP conducts annual review • CAR monitors performance on a project by project basis
