  1. HISTORY OF WOODEN FLOORING TIMELINE OF EVENTS 1607-1780 1625-1714 During the colonial era, the new Americans began using wooden flooring during construction and thus creating a trend. Wooden floors became elegant, starting with the French parquetry and marquetry patterns. 1840-1910 Due to the demand in wooden flooring, mass production begins 1901-1914 Wooden tongue, Parquetry patterns and grove floor boards were the most popular domestic flooring during this era. 1920-1950 MODERN DAY Vanish is introduced to improve hardness and curing time with , allowing wood to play a prominent role throughout the modern era. Since its first inception, wooden flooring is a popular option among designers and home makers who prefer modern and elite wooden flooring in Dubai or parquet flooring in Dubai as an option.
