  16. DISCUSS What might you decide or do, that you don’t now, of you were suddenly completely without fear? Are the areas of your life where you have more faith in your fears than you do in your possibilities?

  21. Fear is a choice.

  23. Fear is not a lack of faith. Fear is faith. Have you ever wondered why we are so certain of our fears?

  24. Fear is faith. It’s just faith in the dark being more powerful than the light. Faith in bad things happening being more likely than good things.

  25. DISCUSS Can you see times when you speak your fears into being? Are there times when you bring fear to a situation rather than faith? What can you do to change this? What’s one step you can take?

  30. DISCUSS What might you have been given power over, but your fears are keeping you away from? What skill do you possess that society needs, that you’re not expressing as freely as you could because of other concerns?

  31. Fear is a kind of faith. Fear of God keeps us humble. Fear of death/loss/pain paralyses us.

  32. Fear of God = honest appraisal of who he is & who we are Fear of death/fear of man = underestimates God, underestimates the kingdom of light overestimates humanity, overestimates darkness.

  33. We are to fear God and have an honest appraisal of ourselves. Faith gives us boldness. Fear of God gives us humility.

  34. FEAR ISN’T THE ISSUE. WHAT WE FEAR IS THE ISSUE.

AND YET IT DOMINATES THE THINGS I SEE STARS HIDE YOUR FIRES THESE HERE ARE MY DESIRES AND I WILL GIVE THEM UP TO YOU THIS TIME AROUND AND SO I’LL BE FOUND WITH MY STAKE STUCK IN THIS GROUND MARKING THE TERRITORY OF THIS NEWLY IMPASSIONED SOUL
