  3. Most of our creative techniques are from West African nations such as Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Guinea, Benin, Ghana, Senegal and Togo. Don’t Take Lessons – Go Dancing

  4. The Heartbeat of African dance is the African drum. Without drums there is no dance because dancer feed off the drum. Don’t Look at Your Feet – Look at Your Heart

  5. With live drummers on the side, dancers are encourage to move their whole body with the beat of the drums It is Not How you Move. It’s How You Feel

  7. Dancing is not about the dancer but the story being told. The entire body is engaged; pelvic, arms, feet, chest, and shoulders at multiple rhythms. Don’tMove to the Music – Become the Music
