  1. How can I configure my Netgear EX5000? The Netgear EX5000 Setup is a dual-band WiFi range extender that offers WiFi rates of up to 1200 Mbps and extends the reach of your current network to the weak points in your house or place of business. Complete the Netgear EX5000 setup, and you'll have connectivity across your entire house.

Netgear EX5000 Setup - EX5000 Netgear EX5000 Setup with WPS: • Turn on your Netgear EX5000 extender. • During initial setup, your AC1200 extender should be close to the router. • Your EX5000's power LED will now turn green. • Press the WPS button on the extension when the light becomes green. • Then, on your current Wi-Fi, press the WPS button. • In two minutes, you'll see the client link LED turn completely green. • If your router supports the 5Ghz band, you must push the buttons on your extension and router once more. • The AC1200 can be moved to a location with a spotty Wi-Fi signal.

Using the manual Netgear EX5000 setup procedure: • Before setting up, connect your Netgear AC1200 EX5000 to an electrical outlet. • Keep an eye out for the power light on the AC1200 WiFi booster to become entirely green. • Locate a laptop or tablet and connect it to the "Netgear_ext" default network. • Once your device is connected, launch a web browser and enter www.mywifiext.net into the address bar. • You are now on the setup page for the Netgear EX5000. • You should click the new extender setup button. and create a login account.
