They work as a team. Two cops from the G.I.S department (General Inspection of Services) invite us to join them solving investigations within the National Police. Deux flic de choc, l’un commissaire, l’autre inspecteur, font équipe. Un tandem qui allie charme, efficacité, sentiment et humour. Deux policiers de l’I.G.S (Inspection Générale des Services), les fameux Bœuf-Carottes, nous entraînent dans des enquêtes d’investigation au sein même de la police nationale. Le couple de policier : le commissaire Venturi et l’inspecteur Kaan sont des redresseurs de torts au grand-cœur. Il s’agit pour eux de distinguer les flics qui dérapent par appât du gain et ceux qui ont leur lot de douleur et d’inquiétudes et perdent le fil. Dans les deux cas, il faut faire vite, dixit Venturi : « les flics dépressifs ont un inconvénient par rapport aux autres dépressifs : ils sont armés ».
