  2. Eurodyssey’s got something for everyone... • For young people • For regions • For the companies in the regions

  3. For young people... …if you’re… • aged between 18 and 30 years old • recently qualified or graduated • living in a member region

  4. …then you can get... • a 3 to 7-month work training experience in another European Region • all branches of industry • all levels of professional qualification (both skilled and unskilled) • a maintenance allowance to cover living costs

  5. a free one-month intensive language course (basic knowledge may be required) • cultural activities and field trips (organized by most regions)

It’s quite easy... • Your region is a member of the AER (or is ready to consider joining the AER after 1 year of full participation to Eurodyssey) • You run the program quite freely, according to the following principles : • Autonomy : define method of managing, financing criteria,… • Reciprocity : finance incoming trainees - send yours for free

  12. Vote a budget according to what you want your Eurodyssée Exchange Program to be : • Host and send from 2 to X trainees per year • Decide whether you will finance or not trainees’ travel costs • ...

  13. Designate an officer to implement Eurodyssey in your region and to ensure a suitable management of the program • NB: Regions benefiting from the ESF (European Social Fund) can apply for co-financing. This concerns all 10 new member states. • You receive help from the Eurodyssey General Secretariat and are tutored by a seasoned member Region

  14. Attend the Eurodyssey Forum • A yearly event for member regions & non-member regions • Exchange experience, get information • See where the trainees are living, learning and working in the Forum’s host region • Discuss problems encountered and find help • Discuss and vote on future trends of the program (members only)

  15. For the companies in the regions, a chance to... • take part in the professional training of young people • exchange know-how and skills • open up to Europe • learn about other regions (markets) • show off dynamism and creativity
