Hydrologic Services Enhancement Forum - Collaborative Workshop

This forum aims to improve hydrologic services by refining AHPS strategies, providing advice to NOAA's Hydrology Program, and enhancing service delivery. Representatives from NOAA and various hydrology entities participate in bi-annual meetings for operational insight and strategy development.

Purpose • To enhance the delivery of improved hydrologic services • To allow NWS field office and headquarters representatives to refine AHPS development and implementation strategies • To provide a forum where service delivery constituents can provide advice and operational insight to NOAA’s Hydrology Program Manager

  2. Field Hydrologic Service Delivery Constituents • RFCs • HICs • DOHs • WFOs • Service Hydrologists • WCMs • Regions • Hydrology Program Leads

  3. Approach • Bi-Annual meeting among: • NOAA Hydrology Program Manager • OHD representative • OCWWS/HSD representative • Regional Hydrology Program representative • HIC Team representative • DOH Science Steering Committee representative • WFO representatives (1 SSH and 1 WCM)
