XML and XRML

XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is a markup language developed by the W3C in 1996, designed to represent structured information in a machine-readable format. It facilitates intelligent processing by clients, such as agents, making it an essential tool for data interchange on the web. XRML, or XML Resource Management Language, extends XML for resource management applications, allowing for better handling of complex documents. Both XML and XRML work as simplified metalanguages that provide a robust framework for creating custom markup for diverse applications.
