  2. Who We Are Created in 1970 by a group of senior NCOs Incorporated in Jackson, Mississippi in 1972 Created to give a voice on Capitol Hill for Enlisted National Guard issues We do not have to make a choice who we support – we know! The Enlisted men and women of the National Guard!

  3. Where We Are Today • National headquarters located in Alexandria, Virginia • EANGUS’ Executive Director is: • the President of The Military Coalition (TMC); and • the Co-chair of TMC Guard/Reserve Committee

Why Do We Need Associations? • They bring together like-minded individuals for the purposes of on-going professional development; the sharing of ideas and experiences; and to enjoy the benefits of strength in numbers and a united voice. • They provide professional staff members to help carry-out the mission of the organization; to serve as advocates and representatives for legislative issues; to administer the day-to-day operations of the organization; and to serve as a resource to the membership.

E-6 with 8 years of service – gains an additional $13.00 per MUTA 4, and a $50.00 increase in AT pay. E-9 with 25 years of service – gains an additional $23.00 per MUTA 4, and a $68.00 increase in AT pay AGRS E-4 over 4 years of service – gains $73.00 a month E-6 over 8 years of service – gains $101.00 a month E-9 over 20 years of service – gains $176.00 a month MilTechs GS-6 Step 1 – gains $452 a year GS-8 Step 1 – gains $556 a year GS-7 Step 1 – gains $502 a year GS-9 Step 1 – gains $614 a year

  14. What We’re Working On! Restore Montgomery GI Bill Chapter 1606 from 24% to 47% of Active duty rate. Leveling of Grades/Ranks in the ANG (Air National Guard); Receiving briefings on the proposals to level rank and grade structure in ANG. Enlisted Air Crews affected mostly. Veteran’s Status & Employment

  15. AGR Bonuses in all Combat Zones: NGB regulations prohibit bonuses not in law. Mil Tech Bonuses: NGB regulations prohibit bonuses not in law. More full-time support for both ARNG and ANG. Income Protection for Federal Employees. What We’re Working On!

  16. Reduce retirement age to 55: One year early retirement for every two years over twenty (years of service). Additional C-17s for the ANG. Replacement for the KC-135 Tanker. What We’re Working On!
