TD ROC Status
In the GSI meeting held on June 26, 2006, significant updates regarding chamber production and testing were shared. A total of 16 chambers were dispatched from Dubna to GSI with an expected arrival in Germany. Challenges include large leaks in three chambers, production halts due to material shortages, and testing backlogs in Bucharest and Heidelberg. Additionally, humidity issues in the lab and problems with step motors hinder production processes. Despite these setbacks, the raw production rate has improved to approximately six chambers per week.

TD ROC Status TRD Status meeting 26.6.2006 GSI
News • Dubna: • 16 more chambers sent to GSI, should arrive in Germany today. First transport by truck from Dubna. • Oleg will come to GSI in July to test those chambers (HV test, leak test on some, full test on 1 chamber). • 3 chambers with large leaks: working on it. • Production stopped, due to lack of materials: last transport left GSI 5 weeks ago, not arrived yet. • Bucharest: • Some panels seem to be less flat than 200um (~<250 um). Will compare with measurement protocol from production.
News cont. • Frankfurt: • Production bottleneck: Testing (Step motor problems, Orbishpere problems). • Humidity in Lab approaching 60% RH: Waiting for dehumidifier. • Heidelberg: • Chamber testing backlog due to Dubna/Bucharest chambers being tested • 1 Bucharest chamber seems to have unconnected anode wire: Bucharest people will repair. • Chamber building regularly disrupted by SM production, CERN visits (with my technicians) and health problems. • Profile production disrupted, by Cooling profile production: no L-profiles produced in last 3 weeks until End of July. • Front profile production stopped by LV patchpanel production.
News III • GSI: • Unconnected anode wires discovered after collimation of x-ray tube was increased. • Collecting Info from all labs. • Possibly require fine granularity for chamber testing
Production Status • production rate since last status meeting increased: ~6 chambers/week (raw production rate w/o testing). • Only tested chambers: 4 chambers/week.
