Comparative Analysis of Haemocyte Clusters in Resistant and Susceptible Species

This study investigates the differences in haemocyte clusters between resistant and susceptible species. Using specific libraries, we analyze the expression of proteins associated with immune responses, focusing on Cluster 5 (Ferritin) and Cluster 4 (FREP-like), alongside other identified clusters. Results indicate significant molecular variations that may explain the mechanisms of resistance in haemocytes. Our findings could enhance the understanding of immune responses in these species and contribute to developing strategies for improving resistance in susceptible individuals.
