Riverwood International Charter School, one of the sixteen high schools in the Fulton County School System, opened in the fall of 1971. Accredited by the Georgia Department of Education, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the International Baccalaureate Organization, Riverwood International Charter School is a four year academic, college/career preparatory high school offering a broad program and experiences that address the interpersonal, social, physical, and academic needs of its students. Riverwood is a comprehensive high school and the site of Fulton County’s International Studies Magnet Program. Riverwood is the only Fulton County school offering both the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programs. This prestigious college prep institution has a diverse, talented student body and faculty.
