This update covers important changes in health and social care projects, focusing on the Respite Care Survey, now renamed as Short Breaks Survey. New guidance for data collection starting from 2012/13 includes options for survey returns. We emphasize delayed discharge statistics, with revised targets aimed at reducing delays effectively within specified timelines. Additionally, we discuss the collection and analysis of various data sources related to care services, provide insights into local authority comparisons, and seek input on communication practices to enhance public awareness.
