MRI Outcomes in Atherosclerotic Right Common Carotid Arteries: A Patient Study

This study investigates the MRI outcomes in the right common carotid arteries of three patients with atherosclerosis. The findings illustrate the lumen characteristics and plaque burden assessed through MRI. By analyzing the reproducibility of MRI in evaluating carotid artery and aortic plaque, this research offers insights into the effectiveness of imaging techniques in cardiovascular medicine. Conducted by Aidi HE et al. (2009), this cross-sectional, prospective study underscores the importance of precise diagnostic methods in managing atherosclerosis.
