Protocol for Reporting Unprofessional Posts in LoudCloud Classroom

This protocol outlines the steps to report unprofessional or questionable posts in the LoudCloud Classroom. If you encounter such a post, follow the two-step process: first, use the "Report Abuse" feature to select the appropriate abuse type and provide relevant details. Then, hide the post from student view by selecting "Hide Post." It's crucial to note that the reporting feature does not alert anyone until a ticket is opened with the Faculty Specialist team. For assistance, refer to the Online Faculty Policy Manual or contact the Faculty Specialist team directly.

  1. Protocol for Unprofessional or Questionable Posts in the LoudCloud Classroom

  2. LoudCloud features are different than Angel features. • You come across an unprofessional or questionable post in the LoudCloudClassroom. What do you do?

  3. There is a 2-step process to hide the post from the class and actually “report” this post to the Faculty Specialist team at GCU. • The “Report Abuse” Feature is the first step in this process.

  4. Important! • The “Report Abuse” Feature does not “report” anything to anybody. • Faculty will utilize this feature: 1) As a precursor to submitting a ticket with the Faculty Specialist team. 2) To hide any questionable posts from the classroom

  5. After choosing the “Report Abuse” option, select the appropriate Abuse Type, and fill in any relevant details prior to submitting.

  6. After submitting, the instructor must choose the “Hide Post” option to remove this post from the students’ view.

  7. Once this post is hidden from the class view, please open a ticket with the Faculty Specialist team immediately by clicking on the following link http://fsi.gcu.edu/.

  8. For instructions on submitting a Faculty Specialist ticket, please refer to the Online Faculty Policy Manual (Participation, Engagement, and Facilitation section, p.10). • To contact a member of the Faculty Specialist team directly, please call 602.639.7204.

  9. Thanks for providing our students with a safe and positive learning environment!
