  1. What is parquet when it is born and why it is so used? Some talk about bamboo flooring well, others speak ill of it. Some are urban legends and others are true information. Parquet flooring, which has always been loved and appreciated, also have dark sides that are sometimes emphasized to create incorrect and bogus beliefs. Let's start with the basics: What is parquet when it is born and why it is so used? Woven Parquet is a natural, warm and made of wood flooring. It adapts to rustic and modern environments, is versatile and allows you to customize the house, choosing from different designs, colors, and types of wood. This type of floor is born in the Neolithic, in a very rudimentary form, and persists to the present day. Much appreciated in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. It changes with the passing of the years up to the present day and the modern techniques of realization. In short, it is a timeless floor that has practically always existed and that will continue to exist in the future. One of the advantages of strand woven bamboo flooring is that has made it very popular in all ages is certainly the thermal insulation that allows the house to remain warm even in the coldest seasons. As mentioned in the introduction to the guide, there are many legends on the parquet, especially negative. Let's try to debunk some myths. The parquet cannot be used in the bathroom and kitchen: It is not entirely true. There are particular types of wood that resist water well. Some woods are very stable (i.e. they do not vary much depending on the climatic conditions). Parquet can be placed throughout the home. Just dry the water that falls to the ground after taking a shower or bath and ventilate to avoid condensation which among other things should be done even in homes that do not have parquet. In the kitchen, on the other hand, just be careful not to spill pans of oil (which is also done with normal floors) on the floor. Woods with medium and low stability is not recommended for wet rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens or cupboards. They tend to react too much to climate change, risking rise to create bubbles and get ruined. Hardness, on the other hand, can be useful for the next point concerning parquet and domestic animals. Parquet does not fit with dogs and their nails: Not with all types of wood, this is true, but with some yes. Just find a wood that is strong enough, or treats the wood so that it can be restored in case of scratches. Imagine if all those who have parquet do not have pets with sharp claws. It is true that wood is normally delicate and scratched, but valid solutions can be found.
