  2. I have a great home theater set up. I love watching movies and other videos so much, and especially sharing them with other people, that it is probably where I spend most of my time when I don’t have anything more important going on.

  3. I love being able to experience a great movie on my big screen from the comfort of my own home, and my friends all love to come over and enjoy it as well.

  4. To go with this, I also have a great DVD collection. The movies and TV shows that are my all-time favorites I have probably watched dozens of times, because I never really grow tired of a great story.

  5. One problem I run into, though, involves all of the new movies and shows that are constantly coming out.  As much as I want to add them to my collection, it is a never-ending cycle that would cost me way too much money to keep up with.

  6. I can’t always watch the new videos as they air on live television either, because of conflicting times or me being busy with something else.

  7. Live television usually doesn’t allow for multiple viewings, either, unless you count the 24-hour running of “A Christmas Story” that starts Christmas Eve.

  8. For a long time I struggled with this. I wanted a way to watch these great videos over and over again, and do it on my own time.

  9. I soon discovered somewhat of a solution, which is that there is a large variety of video files that you can find and download on the Internet.  

  10. There are even ways to download Youtube videos onto your computer, which is great. Having these files allows you to access them on your computer whenever you want them for instant streaming.

  11. But, I soon found that watching videos on my computer or phone did not have nearly the same affect as watching them up on my television. Why would I want to sit in my uncomfortable office chair and watch something on a laptop, when I have a much larger screen with great seats right in my home?

  12. Having videos on a computer also makes it much more difficult for guests to watch the same video together.
