  2. DESCRIPCIÓ i SÍMTOMES • Trastorn neuropsicològic • Tics físics i fònics • Simples i complexos

  3. CRITERIS DE DIAGNOSTIC • A. En algun moment al llarg de la malaltia ha hagut tics motors múltiples i un o més tics vocals, tot i que no necessariament de manera simultània (una vocalització o moviment sobtat, ràpid, recurrent, no rítmic i estereotipat.) • B. Els tics apareixen varies vegades al dia (habitualment en onades) quasi cada dia o intermitentment al llarg d’un període de més d’1 any, i durant aquest temps mai hi ha un període lliure de tics superior als 3 meses consecutius. • C. El trastorn provoca un notable malestar o deteriorament significatiu social, laboral o d’altres àrees importants de l’activitat de l’individu. • D. S’inicia abans dels 18 anys d’edat. • E. L’alteració no es deu als efectes fisiològics directes d’un fàrmac o d’una malaltia mèdica.

  8. PERSPECTIVES DE TRACTAMENT • Acostuma a millorar cap als 20 anys • No té cura • Crònic, no degeneratiu
