Resolution 279 Advisory Group on Strategy - Planning Team (AGS-PT) • ISO/TC 211 resolves to establish the Advisory Group on Strategy - Planning Team (AGS-PT) to develop a long term plan for the ISO/TC 211 programme of work. This shall be done in consultation with all members. • Noting document N 1623, AGS-PT is authorized to propose revisions to the ISO/TC 211 scope, if considered necessary. • AGS-PT shall report on the progress at the next plenary in Baveno. A final report is expected to be discussed at the Stockholm plenary. • Members are invited to nominate participants. AGS-PT will be chaired by the ISO/TC 211 chairman.

Resolution 302Establishment of focus group on data producer use of geographic information standards • ISO/TC 211 resolves to establish a focus group to raise the awareness and promote the use of international standards in the area of geographic information by data producers and to collect requirements for development of additional standards in this area. • ISO/TC 211 encourages the group to work in close cooperation with CEN/TC 287, JRC representing INSPIRE, and other appropriate organizations. • ISO/TC 211 accepts the nomination of Mr. Iain Greenway by Ireland to chair this group. • The secretariat will, in cooperation with the chair, appoint additional members to the group.
