Education for Sustainable Development
Development that meet the needs of the present without comprising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs. South Asian Association of Regional Corporation faces now an important number of interlinked priorities in the early 21st century, including the economical and social consequence of the global financial crisis, climate change, declining water and energy resources, shrinking biodiversity, threats to food security and health risks. ESD is a lifelong learning perspective is essential for the achievement of a sustainable society and is therefore desirable at all levels of formal education and training, as like formal and non formal education. Education and training are in dispensable to achieving a more sustainable South Asia and world should be regarded as crucial in the process of lifelong learning and should, where appropriate , be main streamed into all levels and aspects of education and Training , in order to strengthen the capacity of citizens to cope with imminent unpredictable problems and to find long term solutions for there in many different situations throughout life.
