How I act If there is one way to describe the way that I act I’d have to say that I’m the kind of girl that wears her heart on her sleeve. I am a very Compassionate person, and always try to help people who are in need. I always try to have a smile on my face and feel like I am very accepting of what other people want to say. If you are afraid to tell someone something, because of what they would think, I’m your girl with whom you could speak. Ever since I was little, I have been a very adventurous person. I love to try new things, and I’m not scared of pretty much anything (except worms and hippos but that’s understandable in my eyes).

Swimming When I was little, I lived in Puerto Rico. My little island was surrounded by water, and all I ever wanted to do was get in it and swim. I could be swimming at the beach, in the pool or in the bathtub. It didn’t matter as long as I could submerge myself under the water and feel it all around me. I never really grew out of this, and one of my favorite things in the world to do is swim. I’ve never been in a swimming or diving team, because frankly, I would hate to have to follow their patterns on how to swim properly, and breast strokes, side stroke, fancy diving. I don’t like that stuff. I just love being in the water. I’m a very good swimmer though and knew how to do it before I could even walk (according to my mother).
Cartoons I love watching cartoons! Not just any cartoons though, I love a particular genre called anime. My favorite anime of all time is Sailor Moon. I used to wake up an hour early everyday week day just to watch it, and run home from school so I would get to watch it in the afternoon’s as well. I also used to love watching Dragon Ball Z. Even though I don’t really watch these two shows anymore, I would absolutely still sit and watch an episode or two just as I would when I was a kid.
Books! There is nothing better than opening up a fresh new book. The pages are so nice and clean, with words just ready to invite you into their world. I love all types of books, including comic books, journals/notebooks, scrapbooks, and your basic novel. I really like to read, there is a world of knowledge out there and every book I pick up lets me expand my imagination in more ways than I could have imagined. Some of my favorite books include, Stargirl, The Giver, any of the Night Series Books, Incarnations of Immortality Series, and my newest favorite Peter and the Starcatchers.
Video Games I love video games. I know that a lot of scientists and researchers think that video games make people more violent, but I happen to believe that good things come out of them as well. You have to be pretty intelligent, and have the mental capacity to play some of the video games out there. I’m not talking about Mario or pac-man, which were the simple video games of the past. I’m talking about the vast RPG (role playing game) world that most games have now a days. If you don’t believe me just check out World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Zelda and so on. I love these by the way (especially Zelda and WoW). A lot of people try to play them and don’t understand them. My mom likes to joke how you need to have a college degree to play some of these games. Video games are so much fun and I love playing them with my brother and my boyfriend.
Sea Food I absolutely can not eat any type of seafood whatsoever. When I was younger, I used to pretend that I was a mermaid, and therefore never ate anything that came from the sea. I never really acquired a taste for sea food. This means that I don’t eat fish, shrimp, lobster, crabs, or oysters. Absolutely nothing.
Worms…. EEEEP Worms have to be one of my biggest fears. If you know me, then you know that I’m really scared of worms. I’m not sure exactly why I’m so afraid of them, but I feel like it has something to do with my childhood. My grandmother always told me stories of how worms would crawl into my skin if I walked around barefoot, or that if I didn’t clean out all the tiny worms from the rice I would eat one and it would grow inside of me. I hate when it rains, because all the worms creep out of the dirt and onto the sidewalk. I usually just keep my gaze up in the sky and try to to look down at my feet.
Hippos Hippos attack more humans in Africa than crocodiles do. I know that I don’t have to worry about Hippos, considering that they don’t live anywhere near here, but they are just scary creatures. Humans have been hunting them for that tusk they have inside their mouth, that scientists think they are becoming one of our natural enemies. It’s scary to think about, especially since the hippos on T.V always seem so nice and happy. I’m really scared of Hippos.
What I Look Like I have beautiful large brown eyes that speak more than anything I could ever say with my voice. My skin is tan with a few dark brown beauty marks. I used to put my pointer finger, and thumb together to make a circle and put them on my arm, just to see that it looked like I had chocolate chip cookies on my arm. I have brown hair, that never does what I tell it to do. It loves to fly in the air, dance until it’s all tangled, curl up after I’ve straightened it, or straighten up after I’ve tried to curl it. I’m a petite girl, standing at about only 5′1 but I really like it.
Extra! I have three cats, two dogs and a mom living with me back home in Raleigh. The only one that’s actually mine is my cat Michelle. The others are the twins, Papito and Manchita (two white kittens), and two Maltese dogs named Coco, and Mimi. I have an older brother named Julio. He is two years older than me. Since we were little we’ve always been really close. He is the best brother in the world.
