  1. JESSICA GARZA

  2. THE VISIONARY BEHIND THE BRAND Jessica Garza, a communications strategist and entrepreneur, co-founded Nomad Internet with a vision of bridging the digital divide in rural and remote America. Her background in storytelling and digital branding enabled her to shape a company identity that resonates with mobile workers, digital nomads, and underserved families. From the beginning, Jessica believed internet access is not a luxury, but a necessity in today’s digital age.

  3. THE SPARK – A PROBLEM WAITING TO BE SOLVED The idea for Nomad Internet was sparked during the Garzas’ own experience traveling and facing poor connectivity at RV parks. What began as an inconvenience quickly revealed a broader issue: millions of Americans—especially in rural areas—lack access to high-speed, reliable internet. Jessica Garza recognized this digital inequality and set out to solve it. She envisioned a company that didn’t just sell internet, but offered freedom—freedom to work remotely, travel, homeschool, or stream without interruption, no matter your zip code.

  4. FOUNDING NOMAD INTERNET Established in 2017, Nomad Internet began its journey by addressing the connectivity issues prevalent in RV parks. Jessica Garza, emphasizing the dire state of WiFi in RV parks, stated, "We set out to change that—one RV park at a time." Their commitment bore fruit with the installation of the first Nomad Internet connection in Johnson City, TX, followed swiftly by another in Seguin, TX. Nomad Internet's use of LTE technology provided a much-needed boost, demonstrating its potential in the realm of rural internet solutions.

  5. EARLY CHALLENGES AND BREAKTHROUGHS In the early stages, Nomad Internet faced a classic startup dilemma: big vision, limited funds. Many rural communities and RV parks couldn’t afford costly fiber builds or complex infrastructure. Jessica and Jaden pivoted to LTE-based technology, adapting it to serve fixed rural homes and mobile users effectively. They embraced challenges like inconsistent tower access and coverage gaps, finding creative deployment strategies and advocating with carriers. Jessica also focused on customer education, explaining how LTE worked and how it could improve their daily lives.
