  2. General Information They speak Filipino. Around 97 (ninety seven) million people live in the Philippines. It is not snowy in the Philippines in December, I think it is sunny there, it is a little bit cold.

  3. Celebrations and Traditions The names of the celebrations they have are Noche Buene , Lola , and Santo Nino de Cebu . They usually celebrate on Dec.16 . When they do there celebrations and traditions they include Santa sometimes they have fireworks. People stay up all night when the celebration is taking place.

  4. Important Characters The names of important people are Mary ,Joseph, and Santa. Mary and Joseph are important because they were the parents of Jesus. Santa is also called Kris Cringle and he is important

  5. Gifts People in the Philippines give each other trinkets(trinkets are objects) and money. For helping each other like maids.

  6. Decorations They put up parole a 5 star lantern made by hand. There are streamers that are bright colors inside and out. Red and green ribbons are hung also and last candles and wreaths.

  7. Food They eat ukoy,puto,bungbong,bibingka,lechon,kare kare,and aroz caldo.

  8. Interesting Information Philippines are known as the land of fiesta's. They celebrate the longest and the merriest in the world.
