Lender's Closing Process: Submitting Conditional Commitments via GLS

This guide outlines the steps for Lender representatives to access the GLS for submitting loan closing information. By clicking the designated icon and continuing through the process, users will receive confirmation that the conditions of the Conditional Commitment have been met. It is crucial to disable pop-up blockers to ensure all screens display correctly. After submission, a message will confirm that the loan closing has been sent to USDA for processing. Edits and corrections can be made post-submission if needed.

  1. Lender’s Closing Process

  2. Clicking on the icon will allow the Lender representative to access GLS

  3. Click Hyperlink

  4. Click Continue

  5. The User will receive this message certifying that the conditions of the Conditional Commitment have been met. Click OK to continue or Cancel to return to the Input Screen. FYI – If the User’s computer has Pop Up Blockers on it must be turned off or this, and the following, screen will not display and the data cannot be submitted.

  6. Another message is displayed confirming that the information is accurate and notify the user of penalty for false statements Click ‘Yes’ to submit the data to FSA

  7. User should receive this message confirming that the Loan Closing was submitted to USDA for processing.

  8. More examples of edits, corrections can be made to all and then the data resubmitted.
