  1. Venclexta Therapy for CLL Treatment Option Overview There are different types of treatment for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Six types of treatment are used: •Combination Therapy •Watchful waiting •Targeted therapy •Chemotherapy •Radiation therapy •Immunotherapy Chemotherapy with bone marrow or peripheral stem cell transplant Venclexta 100 mg is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of adult patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The venclexta 100 mg is also used along with azacitidine, or decitabine, or low-dose cytarabine for the treatment of adult patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Venetoclax tablets should be taken orally with food. In patients taking treatment with venetoclax, the most commonly observed side effects include low levels of neutrophils (a type of WBC), nausea, anemia (reduced RBC counts), diarrhea, nose and throat infection and tiredness.
