GMAT Preparation – 5 Different Things You Need To Know If you're reading this article, I'm assuming that you've already encountered the term GMAT while looking for some of the best B-schools after your graduation. The GMAT short form for Graduate Management Admission Test is a standardized test looked over by the GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council).   2. Because your GMAT scores play a vital role in your application, it would be great if you start your GMAT exam preparationwisely and early. Here I’ve mentioned 7 things that you need to know as you prepare for the GMAT. No. 1 – The GMAT has 4 different sections The GMAT exam has four different sections – analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative assessment and verbal. To excel in these four sections GMAT Singapore is offering different courses to the candidates who are to prepare for GMAT. For your information, the analytical writing section is used to measure candidates’ critical analysis and ability to communicate the ideas.

  3. While integrated reasoningbeing the second most section of the GMAT test measures your ability to evaluate information. Next is Quantitative assessment, here you will be tested on data analysis ability as well as how effectively you can conclude it. And the last section is Verbal, here you will be measured with your ability to read and understand the written material and how you assess it. No. 2 –You’ll receive 4 different scores You will receive different scores for each section. Candidates are likely to score on a scale of 0 (minimum) and 6 (maximum) in half-point intervals. While integrated reasoning is scored on a scale of 1 to 8 in single-digit interval. However, candidates tend to score on a scale of 0 to 60 in quantitative and verbal sections.

  4. No. 3 – Your GMAT Scores are valid for 5 years Your GMAT score is declared from the twenty days of the exam and will be valid for 5 long years. This is important for planning when to take the GMAT test. If you're pretty sure where you want to get admission then you must take GMAT keeping in mind the deadlines scheduled by that school.   5. No. 4 – No Pass or Fail, Phew! There's no pass or fail in this exam. The score you need solely depends on which B-school you are applying to. As a GMAT aspirant, you should prepare to keep in mind the cut off score of your dream B- school. No. 5 – GMAT is in English The test is administered solely in English.
