  1. INTRODUCTION Civil Services  The Civil Services Examination (CSE) may be a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for accomplishment to the assorted Civil Services of the govt of India, as well as Indian body Service (IAS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Police Service (IPS). The examination is one in all the toughest examination within the world successfully rate of 0.1%-0.3% with quite 500,000 candidates. UPSC is the main body for governing, conducting examinations and selecting the candidates. The civil serviceentrance examinations can be tough to crack. But proper study and guidance will make it a lot easier. Lots of hard work with self motivation will help the students to make it through the exam.

Step - 1For coming out successful in the UPSC Exam one needs to be well motivated and confident about his/her own abilities because only if one believes in them can they put in 100% efforts. Step -2To begin with the preparation the candidates should regularly follow one national newspaper and magazines to keep them updated of the latest happenings in and around the world. 

  4. Step - 3 Also the candidates should be well aware of the pattern of the UPSC which is a three stage examination and direct their efforts accordingly. Step - 4The syllabus should be studied well and one by one the topics should be taken up and should be prepared in great detail. 

  5. Step - 5It is advisable to choose subjects which you are studying or you have already studied. This will help you do well since you already know about the subject. Only a little more effort and revision will be needed. Step - 6The candidates should be dedicated enough because it may require more than 1 attempt to crack the UPSC exam.
