Reasons Why The Revolution is Good • Mubarak ruled for 30 years and the people needed change. • The people deserved to have an election • The corruption of Mubarak had to stop • The people of Egypt had the right to protest • Mubarak’s secret police had to stop there brutality. • It shows the world that they can stand up to dictators and have a voice

  7. Reasons Why The Revolution is Bad • After Mubarak is gone there is a possibility that radical pro terrorist leaders could arise like the Muslim Brother Hood. • It will spark other Muslim countries to revolt against there pro American leaders and allow the Muslim brotherhood to step in. • Not all of Egypt wanted him out a lot of the protestors were young and didn’t represent the whole countries views.

  8. Obama’s Views • Obama supported the protestors and believed Mubarak should step down.

  9. Outcome in Egypt • Mubarak has completely stepped down leaving control of the country to the military forces until the next election. • After this news the people of Egypt celebrated in the streets

  10. Protests Inspired After Egypt • After Egypt many other protests occurred, but the biggest was in Libya where they have revolted against Gaddafi. These protests didn’t end as peacefully as in Egypt. Gaddafi has not gone down with out a fight he has killed many people recently.
