COMPANY • Astroflex is a public company founded in 1991 the only production site is located in Collegno in the neighborhood of Turin. • The warehouse of 7500 sqm is situated in own area of 12500 square meters. • The social capital of € 3,600,000 fully paid. • The workforce currently has 50 employees.

  3. Astroflex carries within it the following activities: • Product Design • Design Tools and Equipment • Assembling Machinery • Production Products: • Flexible metal hoses • Compensators • Vibrations Absorbers • Special hoses according to the customer specifications ACTIVITIES / PRODUCTION

  6. TURNOVER • The turnover in 2017 was 6.6 million euro divided into two main geographical areas: • • Italy (50%) • • Foreign (50%)

  7. MARKET • Astroflex is on the market in the following areas: • • Domestic water connection (18%) • • Gas pipes, domestic / industrial (15%) • • Refrigeration (15%) • • Automotive (18%) • • High vacuum (22%) • • Custom Pipes Industry (12%)

  10. LABORATORY • The main instruments of our laboratory are: • • Metallographic microscope • • Stereoscopic Microscope • • Borescope • • Profilometer • • Profile projector • • Quantometer • • Durometer • • Micro-Durometer • • Dynamometer • • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT • All production machines and test benches are designed, developed and assembled by ourself. • The staff dedicated to these activities is composed by two engineers, two electronic technicians and three maintenance workers. • This allows flexibility and responsiveness in the development of special products and samples.

  12. Here the main machineries involved in the manufacturing process: • 2 tube welding lines • 8 Hydroforming machines • 2 Reductant atmosphere (H2) Brazing Oven • Welding : • 6 lasers of 1 KW Power • 1 laser of 6 KW Power • 19 TIG Bench • 8 Plasma Bench

  13. CERTIFICATIONS • The Quality Management System of Astroflex has been certified in accordance with the technical specification ISO9001:2008

  14. Product certification relating to the European directive 97/23/EC concerning pressure equipment
