Master in Informatics with Bioinformatics Specialization at the University of Bergen

University of Bergen:Master in informatics, specialisation bioinformatics • Students: mainly bachelors in informatics • Open for other students (e.g. mathematics, biology) with some background in programming and mathematics Recommended plan: • Variant with short thesis (only 4th semester) • Bioinformatics specialisation also possible in Molecular biology masters program

Other bioinformatics Masters programs in Norway University of Tromsø:in planning (biology oriented) • NTNU, Trondheim: part of technology master program: • Computer science master specialisation • Biotechnology master specialisation • Common user course, PhD course. More in development. University of Oslo: Specialisation within “Modeling and data analysis” Masters program (statistics oriented) Currently only one purely Bioinformatics course on Masters level. Agricultural University of Norway, Ås: Masters program based on Bachelor in biotechnology Bioinformatics course in common with University of Oslo.
