Mission • To create a welcoming environment for all veterans, active duty, and reserve members of the armed forces by assisting them in adapting the skill set developed from military training and combat experience to facilitate a successful college experience.

Objective • To provide academic and social opportunities and appropriate support services for • OIF and OEF veterans, specifically • All veterans • Active duty and reserve members of the armed forces

Objective Wellness • Promote optimal psychological, spiritual, and physical recovery from combat • Exercise as treatment • Provide opportunities to connect with other veterans
Objective College community education • Emphasis on training faculty and staff regarding veterans’ military and combat experiences • Awareness of specific combat issues, impact in the classroom, and possible solutions • Promote sensitivity to the shared experience of this population
Implementation • Small adjustments to existing college offerings and activities • Liaison with Veterans Administration and local community resources
