  2. Mary & Jack Mary: Hello, my name is Mary! What’s your name? Jack: Hello, I am Jack! I work as a police officer. What work do you do? Mary: Great! I work as an English teacher. For how long have you been working as a police officer? Jack: It has been 20 years already, and you? Mary: Oh, you are so experienced. I have been working as a teacher for only 5 years. Jack: Nice to meet you Mary! Mary: Nice to meet you too Jack!

  3. John & Ann John: Hi, Ann! How are you? Ann: Hello John! Fine, thank you! How is your taxi going? Are you free to take me to the hospital? John: Of course, jump in! I heard that you wanted to quit your job as a doctor. Is it true? Ann: I wanted, but I realized that I can not live without it, so I changed my mind. John: You did well. You are such a good doctor, why would you want to quit? Ann: Well, my children need some attention, I have to raise them well. But, fortunately my husband found a very qualified nanny for them. John: Oh, that is nice to hear. We arrived! Ann: Thank you John! See you around! John: Have a nice day Ann!

That is why I wanted to talk with you. In our school you are very famous for creating you own company just after graduating. Can you teach me a few things, if it is not too much? Bill: Oh, I didn’t know that I am that famous, but the first advice that I have for you is “Work hard”. This brought me here! Jane: Thank you, I appreciate it a lot! Bill: If you want I would like to invite to work for me until you have something on your own. Jane: Really? That would be awesome! Thank you so much Mr. Hudson! Bill: You are welcome miss Jane! But it’s been too long and now I want to be promoted, but my boss doesn’t want. Sara: Did something happen between you two? Michael: Not really! We just don’t get along that well. But what about you? Sara: You know I love working as a nurse. Now I work in the best hospital of the city. Michael: That’s great! Congratulations Sara! Sara: Thank you Michael! I hope that you get your promotion too.
