JN by JN LLOVET makes playful army jackets not for war!

The Army. Flowers. Forever combined in 1967 in Bernie Boston´s world-famous photograph “Flower Power”, when hundreds of thousands of people were rallying towards the Pentagon to express their strong opposition to the Vietnam War and 18-year-old George Harris was depicted for eternity when he stuck a bunch of flowers into a National Guard´s barrel. The Washington Post did not print the picture in the first place but buried it deep into their archives instead, totally overlooking the symbolic power it carried. However, carnation in gun barrol quickly became the very essence of the “Flower Power” movement, in a seemingly never-ending quest for peace and equality, and they sure are the ultimate symbol of pacifistic popular culture ever since.
