  3. 1.MANDATE GCIS: Our primary role • Provides strategic leadership in government communication • Coordinates a government communication system that ensures that the public is informed about govt’s policies, plans & programmes

  5. 1.Overall Organisational Performance – Quarter 3 GCIS is reporting on 94 quarterly targets in quarter three: • 80 of these targets were fully achieved; four were partially achieved; eight were delayed & two were not achieved. • Programme 1: Administration achieved 86% of its targets. • Programme 2: Communication & Content Management achieved 86% • Programme 3: Government & Stakeholder Engagement achieved 83% and, • Programme 4: Communication Service Agency achieved 85%. • The overall achievement for the department for quarter 3 was 85%.
