Management – Meetings (1/2) • ANNEX 1: • The GAwill meet twice per year (M5 & M11each year)to deal with administrative issues of the project. • The EBwill meet every 4 months (M3, M7, M11each year)to assess the progress in research and training aspects. • CONSORTIUM AGREEMENT: • General AssemblyAt least once a year • Executive Board At least quarterly PROPOSAL: approve an “amendment” to CA by EB and GA. - Unless otherwise required by practice, EB will meet 4-monthly

  3. Management – Meetings (2/2) We can consider the FTK workshop held in March as first GA as well as first EB meeting OR We can have a short GA meeting in July (when ?)

Lot of Administrative Problems...(but we learned a lot) • CAEN-AUTH: solved problem of social security payment • UNIPI: taxes can be paid in the home country • UNIPI: we succeeded to get “cortedeiconti” acknowledge in time for April contracts (cortedeiconti is a court supervising public contracts) • UNIPI: we found the right contract type for recruitment:AssegnodiRicerca(research grant),tax free • UNIPI: agreement with CAEN and PRISMA in order to send itsResearchers with Type B contracts (mantainingtheir own salary) • AUTH: unpaid PhD studentscan be seconded • UNIPI: fellowshipscan be paid on category 3 (see Saverio) for collaborations with seconded people;the fellowship holder can also be seconded • UNIPI: secondment period can be broken into sub-periods for family or home institution reasons • CAEN: in case of closure periods longer than 4-5 days, the secondment must be interrupted and re-started

SECONDMENTS(DONE or ONGOING) • Calliope-Louisa Sotiropoulou: 4 months April - July @ CAENtask: clustering in the pixel modules (FPGA firmware) • Andreas Sakellariou: 2 months April - May @ UNIPI • task: Cadence design of AMBSLP board • Kostas Kordas: 2 months 13 May-13 July @ CAEN • task: VS infractructure setup – AMBFTK tests • Dimas Dimitrios: 2 months June-July • task: diagnostic firmware for the AMBFTK and AMBSLP • WHAT we have LEARNT: • You can choose to pay social security in your country • (module A1 necessary) • You can pay taxes in your country: document certifying you are paying • there is needed

If > 1 week → BREAK • Marco Piendibene: 2 months @ PRIELE July 26 –August 25 (Athens); task: FPGA firmware/software for AMBSLP August 26- September 25 (Alexandropoulis) task: test stand installation/tests of AMBSLP • Simone Donati: 2 months @ PRIELE July 12–August 25 (Athens); task: software for AMBSLP tests August 26- September 11 (Alexandropoulis) task: test stand installation/tests of AMBSLP

Sotiropoulou (AUTH): 2months @ PRIELE November – December ; task: tests AMBSLP and TF-DO firmware • M. Piendibene: 6 months @ CAEN October 15 2013– April 15 2014 task: integration tests – small pre-productions • D. Dimas: 2 months @ AUTH January – February or Feb-March? Instead of September-October? task: integration tests – small pre-productions

NEXT Recruitments • UNIPI: assegno di ricerca November 2013- October 2015 – • WP 4 Simulation, performance studies – call exiting now • LPNHE: contract October 2013- September 2014 – • WP6-WP2 -Silicon read-out and Silicon data processing • AUTH: contract February 2014 – January 2016 • which will be the task? • Please prepare the call and let the world KNOW in advance!

  10. CONCLUSIONS • Challenging tasks – tight schedule • Any kind of administrative problems, but up to now solved • We will do our best to coordinate a very succesful cooperation!
