  2. Animals Mongoose • The mongoose was originally from India. • This animal is a fierce weasel-like creature. Iguana • The Iguana is a Reptile that lives in few places. There are over 31 species of Iguana. In Jamaica the Iguana can be up to 150 Centimeters. Crocodile • The crocodile is a deadly water predator. It can swim real fast and can be up to 20 feet. • A crocodile can have up to 8o-88 teeth.

  3. Authors • Alecia McKenzie wrote the short story Satellite City. • Andrew Salkey wrote many books like A Quality of Violence, Escape to an Autumn Pavement, and many other books.

  4. Tourist Attractions • Dunns River Falls and Ocho Rios shopping tour • Swim with Dolphins Program in Ocho Rios • There is another place Laughlands river tour. When you go there you can swing from a rope or even visit a rainforest.

  5. Culture • The primary language in Jamaica is Patois language and they also speak Jamaican Creole. • One of the most common hair styles in Jamaica is the dreadlocks.

  6. Pictures Mamie Bay in Ochos Rios is a city in Jamaica. There are plenty of beaches in Jamaica. This beach is in Kingston, Jamaica
