  2. ‘N’ - Need improvement Responsibility • Rarely on time or present in class • Rarely completes assignment on time • Does not bring adequate supplies/equipment to class • Makes little or no attempt to meet assignment’s criteria • Does other classes’ homework in your block Cooperation • Does not work well with other students or teacher • Does not show up for arranged out-of-class tutorials or make-up sessions • Rarely volunteer answers or to help Independence • Needs one-on-one attention most of the time

  3. ‘S’ - Satisfactory Responsibility • Most assignments turned in, but does only minimal work required by assignment • Occasionally late to class • May spend some time in class socializing with friends when not appropriate Cooperation • Makes little or no attempt to offer extra help or assistance to other class members • Will participate in class discussions/activities without extra effort Independence • Often required directions

  4. ‘G’ - GOOD Responsibility • Always attends class and on time • All assignments turned in, on time and good quality • Spends class time effectively, rarely off-task • Brings all required supplies/equipment to class each day Cooperation • Participate in class activities regularly and in a meaningful way • Works well with others • Respectful to teacher and students • Is helpful and polite to other students in class Independence • Takes appropriate initiative and responsibility for learning • Self-directed learner • Displays concerted effort to complete challenging tasks without complaints

  5. ‘E’ - EXCELLENT Responsibility • Demonstrate an industrious work ethic • Always ready to work and learn • All assignments turned in on time and exceptional quality • Always on task with maximum effort and enthusiasm. Cooperation • A class leader exemplified by a high degree of positive and meaningful participation • Takes initiative in helping others and promoting positive learning environment Independence • Independent keen and enthusiastic learner • Actively seeks out personal growth and learning opportunities • Demonstrate positive attitude towards challenging tasks
