Background • Currently there is no Standard Reference Framework for Cloud Services, so first we need to develop a Reference Framework • Basically, the Cloud Framework can be divided into • Four horizontal layers • Physical Resource Layer(PRL) • Resource Abstract and Virtualization Layer(RAV) • Resource Control Layer(RCL) • Application/Service Layer(ASL) • One stacked vertical layer to support • Configuration management, registry, logging and auditing, security management, and service level agreement (SLA) management • Inter-cloud cooperation/ coordination also need to be defined
