Rowing. By : Kendall Mulligan. Why Rowing?. I began rowing here at WAC last year and fell in love with the sport. I also have a family history in the sport. It is the oldest collegiate sport in America.

  1. Rowing By : Kendall Mulligan

  2. Why Rowing? • I began rowing here at WAC last year and fell in love with the sport. I also have a family history in the sport. • It is the oldest collegiate sport in America. • There are many different components to the sport that allow for lots of research and information to be learned.

  3. Objectives • Use programs and skills learned in class that I can later use in the work force. • Learn more about the history of the sport of rowing and share it with others. • Create an interesting project.

  4. Problems in Creating my Project • It was difficult to find an applet to match my topic. Also installing the applet was difficult for me. • The organization of many different components into one final project. • The excel sheet charts.

  5. What I Learned While Doing This Project… • How to use computer programs such as word, excel, and power point past the basic steps. • How to write java script. • More about the history of rowing. • Organization in creating a project with many smaller components.
