  3. Housing • Create affordable housing options • Single family • Duplex Multiple unit • Assisted living apartments • Affordable and sustainable housing for all income levels • Mortgage counseling is offered through agencies screened by city hall

  4. Industry • Support industry to provide career opportunities within our city • Entry level jobs • Upper level management careers • Provide easily accessible transportation to businesses and workplaces • Area employers must have the ability to recruit and maintain an active group of employees to promote continued success in their field.

  5. Discretionary Building Permits • Selective construction permits will help us to avoid largely unoccupied subdivisions and industrial parks • Board review of spec home plans to ensure that the home has consumer appeal and potential to sell • Board review of business plans to promote success

  6. Transportation • Pedestrian and bicycle access to business and retail centers • Share-A-Ride program • Maintenance assistance of road way appearance by volunteer groups • Board review of new road plans to ensure best practices in transportation
