  1. To-Do List9/9 & 9/10 • (3 min.) Grab a Metric System journal handout + blank white paper from the side counter. (By windows) Glue the handout in the index section of your journal and update your table of contents. • (4 min.) What is the independent and dependent variable that are described in the scenario below? • Scenario: A student is curious about the time it takes different solutions to reach their boiling point. She decides to run an experiment where she has 5 different beakers filled with different solutions (water, olive oil, syrup, salt water, and milk). She pours the same amount of each liquid in separate beakers and places them on hotplates at the same temperature. She begins a timer and waits for each solution to boil. • (2-3 min.) Brainstorm: Write a list of qualities make America’s great companies successful?

  2. Metric Bingo Review • Get out a blank sheet of paper from the counter drawer and fold it into 16 equal squares (4 x 4) • Write down one vocabulary word in each box from the next slide in a random order. • Be sure to save space to write definitions in each box along with the word. Ex Box: Vocab Word-
