Program Educational Objectives(attributes of graduates 4 to 5 years after graduation) • Professionals who are knowledgeable theoretically and technically in research in-line with industry requirement. • Professionals who are effective in communication and demonstrate good leadership quality in an organisation. • Professionals who are capable to solve or develop computing solution innovatively, creatively, ethically and propagate lifelong learning

Program Learning Outcome(What students will know and be able to do upon graduation) PLO1: Demonstrate excellent ability to conduct scientific research in computing PLO2: Possess practical knowledge and skills in various research design and data analysis PLO3: Critically review ideas and issues constructively PLO4: Demonstrate exemplary leadership and practice ethical standards in intellectual discourse PLO5: Communicate ideas clearly and systematically adhering to scholarly principles PLO6: Plan and implement solutions to solve computing problems PLO7: Possess high ability to work independently and inculcating a lifelong learning culture PLO8: Develop and manage learning plans for effective implementation

Course Learning Outcome RESEARCH METHOD COURSE Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to: • Identify research problems and critically review related research work in a selected scientific area independently; • Conduct scientific research based on critical thinking to solve real problems within the environment in which they exist; • Analyse the outcome of research work completed and present the experimental data and analysis in both written and oral format

  6. Research area • The areas of research in this field of study are as follows: • Intelligent Systems • Knowledge Management • Information Security • Mobile Learning • Data Mining • Big Data • Internet of Things • Semantic Technologies • or any other related area

  7. Entry Requirements • Master's degree or equivalent AND candidate must complete at least ONE of the first degree studies (Bachelor or Master) in Computing or related field. • International students should have proof of written and oral English proficiency, for example a 6.0 scale for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent. • No direct admission from Bachelor’s degree to Doctoral programme. Note: • The provisional offer of admission will be revoked if the candidate: • Fails to submit evidence of qualification within the stipulated date; or • Does not meet the entry requirements of the University. • Entry requirements are subject to change as stipulated by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
