This study investigates the levels of Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) measured in picograms per milliliter (pg/mL) among patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, Legionella pneumonia, and general bacterial pneumonia. The mean HGF levels were recorded as follows: pulmonary tuberculosis (4671 pg/mL), Legionella pneumonia (2474 pg/mL), and bacterial pneumonia (1720 pg/mL), with control levels averaging at 973 pg/mL. These findings may offer insights into the role of HGF in respiratory infections and its potential as a biomarker for differential diagnosis.
