  1. Post Cards - Central Questions • Maxine wants to send electronic “Post Cards” back to her home planet sharing this information with her people and has asked for your help. The post cards should include information gathered from Ch. 1-3 as well as address the following questions: • To what extent can the “Renaissance World” be considered a Global Community? • In what ways was the world interconnected and how did it influence the era of the Renaissance and Reformation? • What role did Europe, the Middle East and Asia play in the interconnectedness?

  2. Guttenberg’s Printing Press • Guttenberg invented a printing press in 1460. It allowed for the mass distribution of written materials • Guttenberg’s Printing press shows the influence of the Renaissance’s interconnectedness by combining the ideas Chinese moveable type and a Middle Eastern olive press to make a European Printing Press.
