  2. Day 1: FRIENDS • Glue, staple, hole-punch, or tape a copy of the lyrics into your notebook. You will need to have a separate notebook or folder for your vocabulary because you will TURN IN your vocabulary work at the end of each unit for a classwork grade! • Listen and follow along and circle the words you think may be new vocabulary. • Double-check your list with the following list. Add/highlight the words you need to know.

What characters were mentioned in the song? 5. What is the timeframe for the song? When did that action take place? 6. What new information about this event/time period did you gain from the song?
