The Purple Remedy By De`sha Rox
The Purple remedy is one of the largest bugs on earth with a wing span of 1ft it is often mistaken for a bird. This nocturnal bug has a dark figure which helps it hide from predictors at night. Its antenna lights up so it can see throughout the night.
In the morning the Purple Remedy is still sleeping, wail she lays her eggs. She wakes at evening for a long night of hard work. First she has to find shelter for her new young. A Purple Remedy usually lays up to 3 slithers at a time. A slither is another word for baby Purple Remedy. She finds a hole in a tree away from the ground so predictors cant hurt her and her babies. Also not too high so the birds cant swoop down and take them. After she puts her slithers in the hole. She covers the hole with twigs and branches , then she goes to find food. She gathers a bunch of wild Neverland berries and water drops which she can carry in her long sticky legs. She drops the berries and water drops in the hole for her slithers to devourer. It takes 3 days for the slithers to learn to fly even with out there mother. When they do they are ready to begin a life other own. In to the world the go …
