    25. FUTURE DIRECTIONS 1. Continue to expand South-South Cooperation in terms of: a) expansion of new programmes and activities designed to cater to special needs/priorities of participating countries. b) strengthening its planning, coordination and implementation machinery through consultations and joint cooperation with participating countries.

Future directions (contd) 2.Continuing emphasis on Human Resource Development (HRD) 3.Encouraging greater private sector participation (eg.training, feasibility studies,experts, projects) 4.Cooperating with donor countries and organizations for more third party funding. 5.Reciprocating technical expertise by participating countries to Malaysia.
