  3. Flooding the WorldWith Your HEART • The Excellentvs. 45 a “The good man brings good things out • of the good stored up in his heart, …” • The Possessions “…brings good things…” • If there is a storage place in us then there must be some type of possessions or things we can acquire to store

Flooding the WorldWith Your HEART • The Excellentvs. 45 a “The good man brings good things out • of the good stored up in his heart, …” • The Place “…the good stored in his heart…” • I believe the real issue is the same that God considered right before the great flood found in Genesis. • The Bible says he looked down and examined the heart of man.

  5. Flooding the WorldWith Your HEART • The Evilvs. 45 a “The evil man brings evil things out • of the evil stored up in his heart, …” • The Person “the evil man” • That which makes a person good or a person evil • is their heart.

Flooding the WorldWith Your HEART • The Evil • The Possessions “…brings evil things…stored…” • What are then evil things stored in an evil person’s heart? • “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. These are the things that defile the man….” Matt. 15:19,20

Flooding the WorldWith Your HEART • The Evil • The Place v45c“…out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks…” • The Water Table • “Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? • The Spillway • Jesus makes it clear that it is the mouth that produces the evidence for that which is in the heart.

  8. Things to remember and practice 1. What is the reoccurring inclination of your heart? What is it that your heart strives for the most? To please yourself or to please God? This is really the only two ways a heart can operate. 2. The heart of man is original evil – no one has to teach a person to do evil – it comes naturally because it comes from their heart. For EX. How many of you had to give your children lessons on the proper technique for lying? 3. God has allowed a severe testing in my life these last three years of learning how to refuse the surrendering of my joy and peace. There are those aligned against me who have tried to steal from me the very Joy of my salvation. This has been a tough course and its not finished, but I think I can say I am learning. Don’t give up what you do not have to surrender. Flood the world with joy even in the greatest storms of life!!!!
