John Adam

A side from his clinical work, John Adam, MD currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the New York Medical College. Dr. John Adam assumed this position in 2001 and has spent more than a decade researching coronary artery disease and cardiac transplants with his colleagues. Since joining the institution, he has published articles in several prominent peer-reviewed publications and presented his research findings at national and international medical conferences. An alumnus of West Virginia University, John Adam, MD graduated with a Doctor of Medicine and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with magna cum laude distinction from Shepherd College, where he also belonged to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society. Following medical school, Dr. John Adam completed his postdoctoral training at Thomas Jefferson University. In addition to an internship and residency in internal medicine, he also completed a fellowship in cardiology. John Adam, MD subsequently received a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and later joined the university as an Instructor of Medicine following the program.
